Job Vacancy: Warehouse Shift Supervisor

This major supplier of consumer goods to the retail sector continues to grow and develop operations to maintain their market leading position. There is now a requirement for an additional Shift Supervisor to strengthen the team at their distribution centre to contribute to operational efficiency covering the early and late shifts working 5 from 7 days on rota..

The role will focus on the effective co-ordination and monitoring of productivity in the various activities - goods-in, putaway, pick, replenishment, assembly and despatch functions in a busy and demanding warehouse environment. You will ensure that operational deadlines are met and achieved within set performance targets.

Relevant warehouse management experience will have been gained in large-scale 'big shed' operations employing a substantial workforce handling high volumes of consumer goods for delivery to the fmcg / retail sector. With strong people management and leadership skills you will be able to develop a positive 'can do' attitude in the team to achieve targets. You will have the ability to quickly adapt and respond to changing priorities in this fast paced environment in keeping with the demands of the business.
