Job Vacancy: Warehouse Shift Manager

Our client is a major supplier of goods to the retail sector and continues to grow and develop their operations. They now have a requirement for a Shift Manager to work at their distribution centre.

The role will focus on the effective management and use of resources for teams varying between 120-150 (up to 180 at peak) and will involve alternate early / late shifts on rota covering 5 days out of 7. You will be responsible for all aspects of the operation from goods in, pick & pack, replenishment and despatch ensuring the achievement of KPI's.

Relevant warehouse management experience will have been gained in a large-scale 'big shed' operations employing a substantial workforce handling high volume goods for the retail sector. You will be able to demonstrate a record of successfully meeting demanding service levels in terms of accuracy and timeliness within a fast paced operation. Your experience will have included budgetary management responsibility, team development, H&S and resource planning.
