Job Vacancy: Supply Chain Manager

The company supply health , beauty and medical treatments to the retail sector and growth has created this role to provide a professional supply chain from international manufacturers into the UK and onward delivery to the customer.

Job objective:
· responsible for planning and organising the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers
· supporting the senior management team on particular projects as and when necessary
· working with the other support teams to achieve customer satisfaction and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision and values
Responsibilities:
· liaising with international manufacturers (placing orders, chasing order progress)
· planning delivery timetables
· monitoring stock levels
· tracking the movement of goods
· overseeing the ordering and packaging process ready for dispatch
· ensuring budgets are adhered to in terms of supplier costs
· looking at ways to improve supply networks
· overseeing the arrival of shipments
· managing clerical, administrative and warehouse distribution staff
· monitoring performance and making sure targets are met
· liaising with the Senior Brand Manager regarding delivery against brief
· ensuring delivery against brief is achieved
· ensure goods and materials arrive at the depot as scheduled
· ensuring goods are stored correctly and dispatched to customers on time
· forecasting sales trends with the sales team
· data analysis
· any other duties that may be required form time to time

Job Specifications:
· Previous supply chain management experience
· Experienced at seeing processes through to completion
· Cost-conscious
· Experienced in liaising with manufacturers
· Ideally hold a relevant qualification either degree, BTEC, HNC or HND
· Good geographical knowledge
· A ‘get the job done’ attitude

Salary : £c £30,000 per annum
